A Dad, 3 Sons and a Dream

Hello! My name is Mike Tanev, a father of three boys, Chris, Brandon and Kyle. As they were getting older and hockey was a sport they enjoyed, I said I need to figure out a way to help them skate faster, as well as try to teach them the perfect stride. This was a challenge. I knew in my mind I had to create a weight that would allow them to pick up their feet and at the same time allow them to lengthen their stride. At that time, there were a myriad of products out on the market that were weighted, but none did the trick.

I put on my thinking cap and came up with a version that took over 20 years of trial and error and many different prototypes to finally get to TURBO STRIPS - 'THE ULTIMATE EXERCISE AND FITNESS AID'.
